Dr Durga Prasad Gogoi (Principal)

Joined Namrup College on 11 Jul, 1994

Dr. Gogoi has done PhD under the supervision of Prof. Amarjyoti Choudhury in the feild of Nanotechnology at Tezpur University. He has visited Strashbourge, France in 2010 to present his paper in the field of Nanotechnology. Dr. Gogoi has been awarded the best speaker award in Oct. 2010. Dr. is fond of Yoga and meditation, he has been awarded Gold medals in two successive years 1990 and 1991 by Dibrugarh University. Since 2018, he has started regular Yoga training for students of Namrup college .

Research Interest:
Interested in Nanoscience. Dr. Gogoi has published more than 15 valuable research papers published in different National and international Journals, Proceedings. He has successfully completed a minor research project on "Development of II -VI semiconductor based UV and bacteria protected cosmetics

Specialized Courses:
Dr. Gogoi has taken special training as NSS programme officer at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Dibrugarh University, shriperambudur, Chennai, Bhubaneswar etc. He has completed 12 special NSS Camps within his period.
